This oral history project is a
partnership between The New York Public Library and The SoHo Memory Project.
This project will collect oral histories of people who have lived or worked in SoHo
and train community members to conduct these interviews. Longtime residents and those who have worked
in SoHo are invited to share their neighborhood stories, documenting the past
and present history of these communities.
Interviews will be available in a preservation archive at The Milstein
Division for U.S. History, Local History, and Genealogy, as well as on the New
York Public Library website.
